Housenote was born out of our own frustrating experiences as students trying to find quality housing.
Today, Housenote is a student-led online property portal built specifically for the student rental market. Our mission is to streamline and unify the fragmented student housing landscape by providing a central hub for all student rental listings in Bristol.
In addition to property listings, the platform offers Flatmate Finder a simple tool that helps students connect with others looking for housemates, making it easier to form households and secure the ideal place together.
Housenote helps students in Bristol find the right house, and the right people to share it with.

Louis Harris
CEO · Investor Relations & Revenue
Third-year Engineering Mathematics at the University of Bristol. Louis leads investor relations, go-to-market and revenue planning, market research and fundraising. He won £700 at Basecamp 2024-25 with the working iOS prototype and Housenote's first 89 users.
Kosuke Ono
CTO · Product & Engineering
Third-year Engineering Mathematics at the University of Bristol. Kosuke leads technical development and product innovation. He built the iOS and Android apps and the listings scraper covering 96 Bristol estate agents, and runs the user feedback and survey programme.
Martha Perry
COO · Marketing & Funding
Second-year Liberal Arts (English Literature) at the University of Bristol. Martha leads marketing, social media content and investment and grant applications, and owns the Freshers' Week activation strategy. She got Housenote published in the Bristol Tab, which tripled the user base.
